Rolling Hills Hospital ADMISSIONS provides 24 hour, 7 day a week, free confidential comprehensive assessments and referral assistance for psychiatric and chemical dependency problems.
Patient intake screening and evaluations are performed by qualified Needs Assessment Staff or by a member of the clinical supervisory staff, social services, registered nurse, or active member of the Medical Staff. Rolling Hills Hospital accepts referrals from the professional community such as physicians, court system, community agencies, education systems, psychologists and counselors. Patients and/or families experiencing crisis are also able to walk in 24-hours a day, seven days a week for an assessment. Once the needs of the patient are established and ADMISSIONS criteria are met, financial information is provided, and the transition process from ADMISSIONS unit to the intended program unit begins.
If ADMISSIONS criteria are not met, our ADMISSIONS Clinicians start working with referrals in the community to find a program and/or facility that is better suited for the patients needs. As needed, transportation to an accepting facility and physician will be arranged.
