A Putnam County sheriff's deputy is out of a job after being arrested in a prostitution sting.
Chris Muncy, 31, of Cookeville, was arrested in Coffee County on Saturday after police said he offered drugs for sex to an undercover officer posing as a prostitute.
Putnam County Sheriff David Andrews said Muncy was fired after the incident.
Muncy is charged with prostitution, in addition to drug and weapons violations.
He had been employed with the Putnam County Sheriff's Department since May 2001.
